Deaf Women Empowerment Center
At PAD, we believe that when a woman is empowered, an entire family is strengthened—and when families progress, the whole society moves forward. Keeping this principle at the center of our mission, we ensure that Deaf women are never overlooked or excluded from any opportunity for growth, learning, or awareness.
Our Deaf Women Empowerment Program is designed to build confidence, independence, and leadership among Deaf women by providing continuous access to education, essential knowledge, and practical skills.
Through this program, Deaf women are supported to:
- Learn technical and vocational skills to become economically productive.
- Address their social challenges through strong peer networks and community engagement.
- Understand and claim their rights, including the right to education, safety, and equality.
- Participate in awareness sessions that protect their health, well-being, and future.
PAD actively includes Deaf women in all major awareness and capacity-building initiatives, such as:
- Breast Cancer Awareness Sessions
- CPR and First Aid Training
- Health and Safety Workshops
- Skill Development Courses
- Bike Riding Training, enabling Deaf women to travel independently with confidence
By offering these opportunities, PAD ensures that Deaf women are empowered not only to support their families but also to contribute meaningfully to the progress of their communities and society at large.
We remain committed to creating an inclusive environment where every Deaf woman has the tools, knowledge, and confidence to thrive.
