Deaf Welfare Service
The Pakistan Association of the Deaf (PAD) is committed to supporting the overall well-being of Deaf individuals and their families through its comprehensive Deaf Welfare Service. Our aim is to ensure that no Deaf person is left behind due to financial hardship, lack of resources, or emotional distress.
Through this service, we provide:
- Financial Assistance: Support for needy Deaf individuals and families facing economic challenges.
- Educational Support for Children: Assistance with school fees, stationery, uniforms, transportation fees, and other essential academic expenses for deserving Deaf students.
- Monthly Groceries: Distribution of ration and monthly grocery packages to vulnerable Deaf households.
- Hearing Aids and Ear Screening: Provision of hearing aids, ear screening camps, and facilitation of related medical needs for the Deaf community.
- Medical Support: Help with necessary medical expenses, medicines, tests, and treatments.
- Psychosocial and Moral Support: Guidance and emotional support for Deaf individuals experiencing stress, mental distress, or difficult life circumstances.
- Emergency Assistance: Support during urgent situations such as illness, accidents, or sudden financial crises.
- Referral and Facilitation Services: Connecting Deaf individuals with relevant government departments, hospitals, welfare institutions, and NGOs for additional support.
PAD remains dedicated to uplifting and empowering the Deaf community across Pakistan by ensuring access to essential resources, care, and opportunities for a dignified and secure life.
