Deaf Sports Board
The Deaf Sports Board is a major project of the Pakistan Association of the Deaf (PAD), created to promote physical activity, teamwork, discipline, and confidence among Deaf individuals nationwide. PAD recognizes that sports are essential for the personal development and social inclusion of Deaf youth and adults.
Through this initiative, PAD ensures that both men and women from the Deaf community actively participate in diverse sports activities held throughout the year.
Key Highlights:
- PAD members participate in a variety of sports including Bowling, Cricket, Badminton, Throw Ball, Table Tennis, and Tenpin Ball (for both men and women).
- Our athletes have secured top positions in Bowling and Cricket tournaments organized across Pakistan.
- PAD strongly promotes gender inclusion, ensuring equal opportunities for male and female Deaf athletes in all sports activities.
- The Deaf Sports Board organizes sports events, training sessions, and competitions to help the Deaf community remain physically active, engaged, and confident.
Through the Deaf Sports Board, PAD continues to empower the Deaf community by cultivating a strong culture of sportsmanship, unity, and excellence at regional and national levels.
