CHIEF PATRON'S MESSAGE
It is an honor for me to be associated with Pakistan Association of the Deaf, a country level representative body of hearing-impaired persons in Pakistan. The platform of PAD is doing a great service to the deaf community by bringing out various publications, organizing seminars and events and providing a networking platform to the Deaf for their interaction with the hearing community.
The PAD is also playing a very effective role in fighting for the issues and serving the cause of disable persons in Pakistan. It has global affiliations with international bodies serving the hearing-impaired persons, and thus is aware of the developments taking around in other parts of the World.
The projects which have been already complemented by PAD are proving a great value to the deaf community in Pakistan. The various projects in hand will also go a long way in service of the community. The PAD is very active in involvement of the female hearing impaired persons. The female participation is ensured in all its activities and functions, as well as at the Executive Committee level.
The PAD also arranges events where parents of the deaf persons meet along with their deaf children, and such networking facilitates matrimonial services as well.
Now PAD is facilitating its member Associations in other cities in development of their Websites, so that the member Associations and their respective members get connected via Internet.
In order to carry out all these activities and projects, the PAD needs your support. It is among the most deserving cause for your charity and donations.
