Cooking classes are arranged at PAD on
every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Cooking classes for Deaf women are held at PAD every Saturday. Knowledge about the accessories used in kitchen is also imparted to deaf women so that they would be able to purchase house hold items by themselves. Theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge about recipes is also given to them. Garnishing with the help of vegetables and fruits is also taught to them. This could prove to be very beneficial for them as through these classes they could learn to cook various dishes and be able to earn a handsome amount of profit by starting a business of selling and supplying cooking items.
Pakistan Association of the Deaf always treats women on equal basis. Therefore, we feel ourselves responsible to give training of different courses to women because a deaf girl can win the hearts of her family by cooking delicious food and can also put her share to support her family without leaving her home.
